Christmas is done, and it was lovely. I have some time off work. It's all good.

Maybe I'll have some more time to write blog entries; certainly I'm having some fun playing around with twitter at the moment - my id there is andrelucas. I'm not convinced twitter is something I'll keep coming back to, but it's amusing for the moment.

I got some great stuff for Christmas, but I'm not going to fill this blog with a list of it. Instead, enjoy (if you will) this picture of my cat Maximus being 'ridden' by one of my presents, a knitted Sackboy from Little Big Planet.

Looks like I'm in a band again. I haven't played live in eight years, and I haven't been a band since I was at university. I have no idea whether I'm as good at playing drums as I think I am, because I've not had that confirmation of being able to play well amidst other good musicians.

I'm exhilarated at the thought of playing live, but I have to admit I'm slightly terrified of subjecting myself to peer review after such a long time. I think I'm a pretty good player, but I just don't know any more.
